At Green Island we value the quality of the person over the length of the CV. Of course - just like every other company we're looking for certain skills, specific experience and a solid education. But we focus on attributes such as:
If that sounds like you, and you've got some experience, we can teach you the rest. And if you love golf... then that's a big plus!
And since we do business on both sides of the Atlantic, any experience working with both North American and European (especially Ireland and UK) clients or teams is a plus.
For our the openings that do not involve coding (e.g. Sales, Communications, Support) we have more flexibility in terms of your background and experience. We need people that have great communications skills, the ability to manage tasks from start to finish, and motivation. We love to see experience in related fields, but we're also open to interns and recent graduates with a desire to work in our industry.
At Green Island we are fortunate to work with clients from a wide range of business sectors - from start-ups and small businesses to large corporations and multi-nationals. But we provide specialist services to the following industries:
If you have experience working with any of these types of businesses, please make sure to let us know!
Site Caddy is a rapidly growing product, and we have dozens of interesting projects in the works at any time. Whether designing a new system or website, supporting an existing application, developing a new service for a client, or building one of our in-house tools, the options are many and varied. In particular, if you have a passion for golf then you couldn't find a better place to work!
At Site Caddy we believe that a modern, flexible working environment is the best way to keep our team happy, reduce costs, and help the environment! While staff are expected to be available for meetings with managers, team members and clients on a regular basis, flexible hours can be arranged and teleworking is often an option. And while regular travel is not involved for most of our team, we find it exciting to work with clients from throughout Ireland, the United Kingdom, North America, and around the globe.
We are growing rapidly and there is a tremendous potential for advancement in all positions. We value the careers of everyone on our team, and through training and experience on interesting projects, we try to make sure that everyone has a chance to learn and grow.
